The Gourmet Food On Offer At Gear Up Girl SA

kay

At this year’s Gear Up Girl SA, Adelaide’s biggest bike ride for women, we’ve teamed up with fine food merchants Bottega Rotolo who will be supplying us with delicious bubbles, Cedrata and gourmet cheese platters.

cedrata

Tassoni Cedrata

A non-alcoholic sparkling drink, with a sweet but slightly sour flavour. Cedrata has a clear yellow colour and bears the aromas of the citron fruit, from which essential oils are extracted to infuse the drink with. It is produced by processing the citrons called “Diamante” (Diamond) – which grow in the sunny southern region of Calabria, Italy.

Salis Valdobbiadene Prosecco

wine

This Prosecco’s chemical-physical composition is ideal for grapes of fine quality. It is comprised of small berries rich in malic acid and delectable aromas resulting from limited development of vegetation. The techniques of cold maceration and fermentation at low temperatures bring out the typical traits of the variety, the sapidity and fruitiness that form the character of this Salis Prosecco.

Gourmet Cheese Platters

The selection of cheese that Bottega Rotolo has on offer is nothing short of amazing (and delicious). They stock everything from gorgeous soft french (think Langres) which quite literally melts in the mouth to creamy rich goat cheese and harder varieties as well. Because Bottega Rotelo will make the cheese platters fresh on the day, we can’t actually tell which cheeses will be available. But we can tell you is that they will be amazing!

About Bottega Rotolo

Bottega Rotolo import and distribute the world’s best food and wine with a focus on Europe and Australia. They specialise in premium imported and Australian wine, artisan cheese, extra-virgin olive oil, select vinegars, pasta, chocolate and much more. The diversity of their products is underpinned by one philosophy… the celebration of good food and wine. So we’re pretty stoked that they’ve teamed up with us on for Gear Up Girl SA.

Everyone riding Gear Up Girl SA gets a complimentary glass of Prosecco or Cedrata at the finish line and can purchase a cheese platter. Make sure you register to ride today 🙂
