Adelaide’s Cycling Future is in Your Hands

Fund My Neighbourhood is a state government funded initiative that allows members of the community to propose neighbourhood improvement projects. Members of the public can then nominate the neighbourhood improvement projects they most value. There are a range of great cycling initiatives that have been proposed and they need your support!

Visit Fund My Neighbourhood via the links below for the full detail on each of the cycling proposals.

You must be within 5 km of the top initiative you want to see delivered in your neighborhood, however if you see something awesome and want to tell other people about it, you can always share it on social media.

Cycling initiatives seeking your support include:

There is another shared bike trail proposal as well in Monarto – The Monarto Rail Trail which will be a shared trail for bike riders, walkers, horse riders and carriage drivers :

There is also a proposal for a volunteer run trishaw service, helping the aged, the isolated, and those with limited abilities in the Glynde and Hope Valley areas remain connected to their communities through the joy of cycling:

Wife and I are going to visit Adelaide for the TDU. It looks like a great place to ride and the city is proactive in creating a cycling centric community.
