New to 2018 – Velo Vino
SAVE THESE DATES – April 15 to 20.
For over 12 months now we have been working with iconic chef Simon Bryant (culinary maestro and Creative Director of Tasting Australia) on a brand new, premium cycling tour offering in SA.
And we are absolutely chuffed announce ‘Velo Vino on the Epicurean Way’, which is to be part of Tasting Australia’s soon to be released 2018 program – a first for a multi-day foodie cycling tour!
This fully supported five-night food and wine lovers cycling feast through our spectacular Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula, will be a premium and very bespoke cycling tour, limited to just 50 guests.
Joining us for the ride, with every turn of your pedal, will be your dedicated chef, who will be as much food creator, as teacher and Master of Culinary Ceremonies.
Your daily food and wine experiences will be themed to reflect the varied terrains you traverse, our nightly ‘Theatre of Food’ and its all-important local provenance will be your entertainment.
As you know, touring by bike is the truest definition of ‘leisure’ – as we ride, we are blessed to see, hear and smell the landscapes we traverse. And Velo Vino will have your palette exploding with the diversity of tastes crafted from the region’s varied terroir.
As you linger longer at each stop, we will personally introduce you to some of the many colourful, quirky and passionate farmers, growers, craftspeople and characters that make this region so renowned. You will be a guest at their Kitchen Table…
And when it’s time to lay your head down and reminisce upon each day, our range of four-star hotel and resort style accommodation offerings will ensure your legs are well rested for tomorrow’s adventure – along with 49 of your newly found riding buddies!
Over coming weeks, we will be introducing your chef, the route for each day’s ride, your luxurious accommodation as well as how and when to register.
